Rosa in the Parks












The two photos that I have of this statue are both at pretty regular angles. I think I did a good job of filling the frame with my subject and the background is not too distracting. In the picture to the right, I immediately noticed my shadow behind Rosa Park's statue and that distracted me quite a bit.


I like this photo a lot more than the original two mainly because of the background. The blue sky is a cool contrast with the bronze color of the statue. I also like the angle of the photo. In this picture, Rosa Parks looks strong, determined and powerful, in the other pictures she does not give off quite as intense of a feeling. I feel that the lighting in this picture is also a lot better than in my other photos, but that's just the luck of the sun.
