Not only did I choose this image because I LOVE Dexter but also because I think it represents a good design. The text is simple but still unique. The variations of the text are slight but enough to distinguish that one is the title, and one is the subtitle. The color palate is not excessive, asside from the skin tones and hair color, only three colors are used. There is a blue, which has a gradient effect, a red and white. The gradient effect with the blue makes the contrast between the red and blue not too dramatic (as to not create the vibrating discussed in the third article). This cover is simple, eye catching and clean, exactly what I would consider to be a "master design."
